Fleet and Personnel Management
Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) have been developed by NEM to ensure the safe operation of all vehicles and equipment. All NEM employees are carefully screened with pre-employment drug testing, along with driving and police record screening. Periodic post-employment random drug testing is conducted; and all driving and police records are reviewed semi-annually. All vehicles are equipped with both radio and cell phone communications, as well as state-of-the-art equipment. Each vehicle must pass daily inspections, along with regular preventative maintenance routines and annual state inspections. All dollies are clean and quiet, and all hand trucks have rubber wheels and bumpers to protect your flooring, walls and belongings.
